| How does Kaizen integrate with STAR CARE? | |
|
The
root philosophy of
Kaizen is “People First”. Constant
improvement only occurs when
motivated people are engaged in work they are
passionate
about.
Removing wasteful effort frees people to focus on
serving their
customers and each other better. Without them,
Lean and Six
Sigma
are only theories.

| What does “Kaizen” mean? | |
|
|
Kaizen
is a Japanese word that directly translates as
‘change for
the better’
or ‘change for the good’ but is used to convey much
more. Kaizen
means ‘constant improvement’ or
‘continuous improvement’. Kaizen
covers more than
simply quality improvement projects.
